Point Linux 13.02 overview
Point Linux 13.02 (Taya) is based on Debian 7 (Wheezy) and MATE 1.4.2. Point Linux aims to provide a traditional, fast and easy to use Gnome 2 like desktop for Linux users migrating to a new Debian platform. Point Linux is about getting things done, that's why it can be a good solution for experienced users. It is also good for business users because it will give them a well-known and predictable desktop environment.

Installer
Point Linux 13.02 uses text-based Debian Installer for the system installation. It's preseeded so the overall installation is simplified.
Known Issues
Once enabled in GUI Vino requires relogin to enable the desktop sharing. There's no choice to run Brasero on blank CD/DVD media insertion.
