  2. Type sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
  3. Uncomment two lines below.
  4. Add desired username to the end of the 'autologin-user=' line.
  5. Press CTRL+X to save the file.
  6. Press y and Enter to confirm save.
  7. Restart your computer to check autologin.
