- Open Terminal.
- Type
sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
- Uncomment two lines below.
- Add desired username to the end of the 'autologin-user=' line.
- Press CTRL+X to save the file.
- Press y and Enter to confirm save.
- Restart your computer to check autologin.
